Welcome to the Julie Grantz Memorial Fund website.  The JGMF has been raising money and presents for the Southern Indiana Marine Toys for Tots Foundation Campaign for over 6 years.  The First Annual Julie Grantz Memorial Toys for Tots Christmas Dance was held the first Saturday of December, 2005, and has been held annually that weekend ever since.  There has also been an Annual Golf Scramble since the summer of 2006 to raise funds for the Toys for Tots campaign, as well as making donations to smaller local charitable needs.  To date, the dances and golf scrambles have raised over $57,000 for the Southern Indiana Toys for Tots Campaign, and collected more than 15,000 toys.  The Southern Indiana Marine Toys for Tots Foundation Campaign serves five counties in Southern Indiana; Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Crawford, and Scott. Each holiday season an average of 5,000 children are served by the Southern Indiana Toys For Tots Campaign with over 15,000 toys needed. The Marine Toys For Tots Foundation distributes the toys we collect directly to the children and uses the funds we collect to purchase the remaining amount of toys required to serve all of the children in need.

The Julie Grantz Memorial Fund was started in loving memory of the charitable heart and soul of Julie Staser Grantz who died tragically in a one person car accident on June 19, 2005, at the age of 36.  Julie's husband Chuck Grantz, her two sons, Andrew Grantz and Nathanial Grantz, along with the Staser, Carney and Grantz families, wanted to honor her memory and her love of helping people, especially children, and found Toys for Tots to represent her spirit perfectly.
